i dont know if i should preorder it. if i go to the store on day one id likely not get it. Thats what i thought for Gears though went to my local walmart close to closing time and tehre was like 7 on the shelf. Halo 3 can be a different story though. i d likely just pick it up or something, after week it comes out.
I have never pre ordered a game in my life and have always got them on launch day......never understood the point of it. I understand pre-ordering consoles when they first come out...but never understood games..
I remember when they started to do preorders for Halo 2 most of the EB's and gamestops kept telling me that the only way I will be able to get one on launch day is to preorder..walked into the store on launch day they literally had piles of them for sale outside of who preordered them....

I preordered it online, because i live in a rural area and i doubt i will be unable to get anywhere to buy it when it is released (as i can't drive) this is the best way to get it the earliest possible and i don't even need to leave my house.
I did...and I'll probably stand outside 'till midnight for a "midnight madness release." Not because I think pre-ordering is necessary, I'm just a sucker for Halo hype....
I'm not gonna pre-order. I could still get it on day one if i wanted to without reserving it. Seriously, it's not that big a deal. Pre-prdering games is pointless. Why tie up your money in one place when you could just go somewhere else and find it. Trust me. There will be enough to go around. And if it's sold out, keep looking.
Your acting like it is a hassel to preorder? You put $5 down towards the purchase and your guaranteed a copy, it IS Halo 3, I don't see why you don't, you may regret it.
