so graphics are still same? Just the color might be more crisp.hotrod811Hell no. Don't listen to this guy... He gives bad TV advice (earlier thread, he told a user something similar). You should seriously get an HDTV and I'm willing to help you out. Just give me a price range and I'll give you the best option.

You mean me? Higher resolution is nothing more than more detail.

Which in turn means better graphics... You said there wasn't a difference between 720p and 1080i which is completely wrong...realistically should i get an HD Tv or will I be fine with out HD?hotrod811Well, seeing as how the 360 is a high definition console... I would recommend you get one... Tell me your budget and I'll give you a recommendation.

How big is your TV?hey guys now that your talking about hdtv's i was wondering ?
the Xbox 360 (20 gb) only have component cables connection right? but does all the HDTV'S have that connection what ever it call? (to component cables of course )
can someone explain to me please ?
please a little help thanks
It depends on the TV. If the manufacturer has the common sense to have good inputs, then there's no need to be worried about that...hey guys now that your talking about hdtv's i was wondering ?

It is just more crispy. The amount of objects and special effects are all the same, just clearer. It is the same as watching SD Discovery channel VS HD Discover Channel. You get like 20-20 vision on HDTV, you can clearly see the sweat or pimplesof a basketball player.
Intheory,SD games will have more objects and special effects than HD since SD is not using as much graphics power, you can add more stuff to it. That is if developers willing to do that.
magicalclick
the games are made in hd so no it won't have more effects and making games in sd would piss a bunch of people off
Big difference. Once you go HD, you won't go back... ;)Funkdaddy13
He speaks the truth. I got an HDTV just two days ago; my games have never looked so good! Everything looks brighter and cleaner; lighting and textures also look considerably better than before. I'm not going back - ever!
Saying that the xbox360 will never have as good a graphics as the PC is a stretch. In fact I think they've already done that a few times, PC may out do some games with the new direct x draw. Even then you have to have a pretty amazing graphics card and overall computer. Besides, unless your computer has a dvi output good luck on playing computer games on a 60" 1080p television.

agreed which mainly means if you have a hd use it with your 360 , if you dont have hd dont buy it just for your xbox unless your using it for tv and movies but of course high definition looks better

Exactly! If you ever played over a friends house or lan party where their pc are able to handle todays games like Oblivion or GTR 2 or FEAR at resolution up to 1920x1080 or 1280x1024 then you'd know the difference. If you get any HDTv under 40 inches then don't bother with 1080p since you won't see much of a difference.
If your computer is up to snuff or know someone who has one that is then ask them to play any recent game at 800x600 on the highest possible settings and then play the same exact game on the same mission/map on 1280x1024 or whatever is the highest resolution and make sure you keep AA off and you'll see what I mean. I could link pictures but you need to see it in motion to understand what I'm talking about.
