hey guys, my dvd drive got all messed up and i was going to call MS and get it replaced but i got the idea to just buy the HD-DVD drive. i just had a few questions, first of all how much does it go for and can it play every Xbox 360 game or just play movies?

it does not play games only regular dvds and hd dvds

I would have thought it would cost more to purchase the HD-DVD drive than getting your system fixed...and no, it DOES NOTplay games.

It ONLY plays back DVD / HD-DVD's / CD's - it can not play games. It would stream much more slowly than the built-in drive. There's your verification.
