i am having trouble setting up my xbox to play on 720 and 1080 resolutions i am currently using the 32" lcd hdtv cable of 1080 resolutions and the component cable suplied with the console which only works on 480 resolution. when i switch to 720 or 1080 resolutions i get a picture but it continually rolls off and on the screen. would a vga or hdmi cable help this or am i wasting my money.

honestly, your not really going to see a difference unless you game on a 40" and above TV. But if the HDMI cable helps remedy your high res problems you mentioned with the component cables then you should probably give it try

I like the look when using the VGA cable, HDMI for some reason with the 360 has a darker grainy type of look. VGA looks better in my eyes.
