I have the S-video & audio cable made by madcatz.The cable works with the xbox but will it work for the xbox360 ?

no, they made the 360 cord differently than the first.

No, I just checked them, the 360 is wider

But if you already have a 360 cable then you wont need the cable from the xbox

Actually you have to buy it separately. It comes with component and composite cables; no S-vid. cable. -K

if your TV does not have an S-vid port you should just use the composite cable that comes with the 360 itself (if your buying a core) If your getting a premium you can just use the yellow, red, white cable's that are on the component cord that comes with the premium 360, But make sure you switch the cord to "TV" before you try to play.
