I reallly tried to like this game. I REALLY did. When it shines, it shines: Great voice acting, pretty interesting story, a few interesting weapons/interactions and mostly pretty environments. Where it doesn't shine, however, is in a crucial area: The gameplay. Nearly every sequence involving dinosaurs degrades into a head-knife fest, and the enemy AI is both retarded and magic telepathic-genius all at once. You'll get shot at from places you shouldn't, the enemy AI won't notice you when they should. You'll waste time replaying parts of missions thanks to a shotty auto-save feature and because you a) got lost and died (ran into a group of enemies that you had no idea would be there with no escape) b) died because you couldn't tell where you were being shot from or c) died because the only interesting way to kill anything is via knife and you'll get mauled while doing so.
Like I said, I really wanted to like this game (think drake's uncharted + gears of war, but with the graphics and gameplay of neither), but I cannot recommend it after playing it for a while. Pass on this and tell Touchstone/Propaganda Games that while it was a good effort, it wasn't good enough.
