I don't hate Halo 3, but I agree it has one of the worst communities I've seen (and heard) in any online game.

I don't hate it either but i can't even play without a friend or two. If you don't half the time your team leaves,team kill,don't play,or just don't even know how to play.

I'd say Gears is the worst, it's got all the bad things Halo has PLUS people who cry about 'kill-stealing'

first of all, there are too many kids on halo 3 to even enjoy it, secondly in team games no body wants to play strategically, for example, we were winning this game on snow bound, and the enemy decided to goand camp in that underground spot...so i told my team to just chuck grenades inside and wait outside, BUT NO, they are went running inside and diead, and we lost...this has happened many times...also everyone cusses etc....so if im going to play a game with ppl cussing me, why not betray them and have some fun atleast?..plus you cant get booted in grifball......the main point of games is to have fun, and if ppl are going to prevent you from doing that, then you just have to find anohter way to have fun, like i did...

you guys need to stop taking gaming so seriously, its just a way to relax...not a life or death thing.....

When you betray everyone on your team because of one person, your preventing a lot of people for having fun. And you better get used to people swearing, because your going to hear it your entire life.

true enough, of coz knowing that i do that i am pissing everyone off, but thats only when i feel silly, but most of the time i play for real until someone on the team starts it, then EVERYONE does it... which is kinda of annoying but might as well do it too lol

but i do play for fun not TKing ppl on purpose but it just happens sometimes... for whatever reason lol

Gears is bad but not worse then halo in halo 3 i get cussed out atleast 10 times a day for taking the shot gun in gears atleast they have a reason there pissed.

In Halo 3 if someone team kills me, I'll team kill them back. Mostly because I suck at Halo and don't even care about my stats. I don't do that in CoD4 though because I have decent stats. It may be petty, but in all honesty I will make it my personal goal for the rest of the match to team kill anyone who deliberately kills me first.resident-shell

same here...but in cod4, i dont play team heardcore so there is no chance of betrayal.....usually in halo 3 if someone betrays me just lower their sheilds all the time..that way they cant kick me out..

I love Halo 3 online, but I hate playing it not because of the stupid behaviour, but because of the serious behaviour. When I'm playing Grifball and suddenly the other team just starts betraying each other I think its hillarious. Who cares if one member of your team suddenly starts a Battle Royale starts a betray war, its funny as hell, and it's not as if you can't just start another match 2 minutes later.

A friend of mine who takes Halo wayyyyy too seriously was in a doubles match with me on The Pit. Because I went to get the sniper instead of "defending the rockets and invisibility" and he died, he started yelling at me down the microphone. So I betray him by sniping him in the head a few times to give the other team a lead, then I quit and find myself a nice fun match. Probably something stupid on forge.
