How do YOU plan on getting Halo 3 when it comes out? When Halo 2 came out I just walked into the local gamestop the same day it came out and picked up a copy right off the wall. I wonder if I'll be as successful this time..

I remember I pre-ordered Halo 2 on Amazon, but my order got f-ed up with all the delays they had, so after I came to teh conclusion that my order was basically null & void I walked into my local GS and they still had a s-load of them on the wall, and I picked one up and embarked on the single player quest (I never go into a MP game without at least knowing how the weapons are supposed to work)

Not EVERYONE is on the Halo crazy train. My friend who I am 1 step away from convincing to buy a 360 I know would not give 2 craps about getting Halo 3. He's more into all the great sports games that come out for it, although I did get him to enjoy Gears of War (and he helped me get a few of the lingering Co-op achievements. ;) )
I don't have it on preorder or reserve because I don't think it's going to sell out, or stay sold out for too long. I honestly don't think that many people own 360s around where I usually shop so when it's released I'll just walk over to Best Buy / Circuit City / Fry's and hope for the best.
I never really understood the appeal of having the "Collectors" or "Legendary" or whatever special edition of it. To me its just Bungie trying to get some more money. All I need is a working copy of the game and I'm happy (assuming the game doesn't stink)
I'm still thinking about pre-ordering it but not really sure...to be honest, I never personally owned the first two Halo's but I have played them before and it is my type of game...I just don't think it's the second coming of a truly next-gen game.
ok maybe i will get the game ,i chose the last one but i dont mean it by word , i mean im not getting it till i try a demo , and i really didnt play the last 2 halo's thats why theres a weak chance of getting halo for me , anyway theres a lot of games that im excited for more than halo3 . so im messing nothing.
One of my Gamestops by me already has almost 900 preorders. They are just getting crates of the game sent in.:oI'm not looking foward to wating in a line wraped around the parking lot to get my preorder.
Its freaking halo, I'm sure I can find a copy somewhere near me. Sears will probably put it out a few days early anyway because they're morons. They do it all the time, NG Sigma was on their shelves like 10 days before the release day.
The game comes out 4 days before my B-day... god there's so much to get.. between that.. Bioshock, Metroid Prime 3 (yes I own a Wii) I don't see myself prying away from my HDTV much after that (especially since I just got the NFL Sunday Ticket HD package. ;p)
well my parents are going to be out of town the week of release(halo 3 party,anyone)ill go out at midnight(even tho im only sixteen and arent suppose to go out after 11)to a walmart,or ebgames
I pre-ordered it a few weeks ago since my B-day is several days after it. Ill go to school, come home, play it. My grandmother is going up to get it for me while Im at school :) Same with Medal of Honor: Airborne
