Well, i have put about 500 hours into the game into two different charactors. One an all combat warroir and another one is a pure mage. I play with with the diffculty on its hardest setting. I've bought all the downloads and beat every mission. Eventually, you can turn any chactor into an all class warrior by enough pratice which i have done. I have made almost every potion through Alchemy, well the ones that give the one shot one kill types when put on an arrow. I usually get about 5 NPC followers beefed up on spells that i make to fortify there health and strenth, which makes an interesting show when you raid caves and beefed up there speed. But I think if i were more creative in some aspect i could make the game play more interesting. so anyone have any suggestions?

Own it for the PC and make your own mods using the TES... or play other peoples mods they made with the TES.

As to going crazy and being creative... I found Morrowind to be a tad more suited to imagination and creativity than Oblivion.

I dunno, it probably is mostly because I enjoyed Morrowind's world a good deal more than Oblivion. And since ESIII wasn't as technically or graphically proficient, you had to use your imagination... like with the combat system... or character 'voices'.

Also, ESIII had a good number of big castle/forts that you could conqure and take over as your own. That was pretty entertaining, searching for the most lavish base of operations.

There were a good deal more types of environments in ESIII if I recall correctly. You had swamps, valleys, hills, mountains, THE MOUNTAIN, lava pits, mushroom forests, sea coasts, islands, craggy rock areas, snowy forests, snowy mountains... and sky (accessable via levitation and that poor man's jump spell).

And let me not forget... ESIII had Vivec... which was the most awesome digital city I'd ever seen.

P.S. Since quick travel was so scarce, you had to imagine yourself as on an epic journey or something so you wouldn't get bored in-route.

imo definitely!

It's like Oblivion but bigger and for me was way more engrossing and immersive.

The only things it doesn't have the Oblivion does is more 'realistic' combat, graphics and no VA. But no VA for me improved the immersion as only having a few VAs for several hundred people was just silly!
