You'll have to create a new custom character I believe.

Choose multiplayer & there should be an option in there to create a new character.

If you already have a custom character, you will need to delete it or disregard it.  You can only have one custom character at a time.  Sorry!

Goto multiplayer and select xbox live. When your character outfitting screen appears you have to select your characters face etc. If you already have one and want to change it you need to go into your service record, its one of the options at the bottom of the menu. From there you an alter your appearance, its say you will loose all saved data but it only means your outfit choices, select yes and it allows you to create your character from scratch again. Make sure your camera is plugged in before you start, then when your ready you will see an option to select the camera at the bottom of the face selection screen.

Hope that helps.

Heres some tips to make it a bit easier:

Try and take the picture with nothing in the background, try standing against a white wall or some other plain light backdrop.

If you have long hair or anything covering your ears, move it out of the way, the pic capture scans for facial features to stop people being silly, if it cant see these features it will reject the picture.

Try and get your head to fill the red box as much as possible without moving outside of the borders.

When you turn to the left for the side picture, your head tends to drop slightly which confuses it, keep your chin up and level. The reason for this is that the feature overlays your side and front images to map your face, it one is straight and one isnt then is messes up the image when the overlay takes place.

Set your tones quite light, otherwise your face comes out looking sunburnt. Get the light right by making sure that any windows are behind the camera, make sure you face the light with the camera between the window and yourself. This will give your face the best tone and will help the camera map your features easier.

Stick to this and you shouldn't have any trouble. You can also put on sun glasses but its even harder getting the overlay just right. You can put hats on but only ones like baseball caps, and the peak wont stick out, from the from the peak looks right, but from the side it isnt there, still the end results look quite good, but it can be quite difficult to get it right, it just takes time. If you keep to a plain face and follow my tips above you can have a normal face mapped quite quickly and easily.

Yeah i got it first try, all you need is a plain background and a lot of light
