How do I make my Live account an "Adult" account?

Ok, this will be quick. I'm 18 now and I'm sick and tired of not seeing ads and not being able to download certain demos because of their rating. So, what do I need to do to make it an adult account?SolidKeevo

Anyway. Go to your 360 and press A when your Gamercard is highlighted. Go into Account Management. You'll then see "Promote My Account" or something like that, it'll say "Promote" in it, this will let you Promote your account to an 18+ account with M content AND ads.

Unfortunately you must have a 2nd Credit Card to do this, it won't charge anything to the card but you'll have to use it anyway. You can then change your Credit Card information back to the original card you used.

Now let it be known, to anyone else who wants to Promote their account, your account age MUST be 18 to do this.

Don't the ads tell you about something new? I'm tired of searching the marketplace for new things. It's not like they had Axe ads on XBL.

Well you can always check the "New" section of XBLM.

But there are times the Ads have exclusive content that you can't just get on Marketplace. So I can see why he'd want them. I just want M content easily acccessible. Right now I have to use a Dummy, Silver Account to download it. That works I guess but its a pain.
