How do you feel after spending 10 hours or more straigh playing video games?

Longest ive played in one session is like 7 hours and then i felt ill and had a break from the xbox for 3 days lol but yeah if i play for to long i make myself ill like i am a bit now after playing oblivion for 4 hours straight. :P

The longest I've gamed is 6 hours. My average is between 2 and 3 hours. No guilt here, I package my time carefully. Any activity can be addicting to people with no self control.

That is very similar to how much I play. Honestly, the only times I really play more than 2-3 hours are weekends/breaks were I don't have school the next day. It'll either be me and my friends over XBL playing Gears of War (used to be Halo 2) or me playing WoW with another friend for hours (we used to play Guild Wars). Anyways, 10 hours is a little...well...much. Try having a clock on top of ur tv or if you're on the computer, watch one on the screen if possible. Be flexible with your time and if you're playing for hours on end, at least be playing with a friend or two next to you; i.e. telling jokes, laughing, generally, having fun.

I will share with you something I just went through to show the seriousness of my addiction towards gaming.

I recently have been looking for a new apartment or house. While looking a found a perfect little place near my job and conveniently located to most everything I would need. I ended up turning the apartment down though. The reason I chose to turn it down is I have a pretty hefty surround sound system hooked into my setup and with the location of the place I was moving it would be impossible to take advantage of my sound system with the neigbors right next door. This is the core reason I chose to decline the place. I ended up moving into a place way out of the way in the middle of no where far from my place of work.

I found it funny to really take a look at myself and just laugh at the reasons behind picking the place that I did.

ive played for around 10+ hours quite often. Its mostly because where i live is so dull, theres absolutly nothing to do unless you drive for an hour to the nearest city... So i just spend my time playing with other people on Xbox live or WoW. I could't probably spend time better but, as long as i keep my grades up and that sort of thing i think im fine...DarkArgonanth
