I Like it a lot, I haven't bought one since Madden 04 for PS2 and The last two years on Xbox 360 didn't have fantasy draft which pissed me off, but its finally back in this one and I like it a lot.
I loved it. It's definetly the best in a long while, IMO.
If you haven't played it I strongly urge you to check it out. And to the guy who said Garbage play it before you deam it unworthy of your "glorious" gaming skills.
Gameplay looks too arcadey and unrealistic, and hasnt been improved enough over the years. Real football fans will appreciate All-Pro better because of its gameplay.
i love the madden series but i havent gotten the game yet because i dont want to buy a E.A. game..... i will probably cave and buy it some time this week tho to hold me over till heavenly sword and halo 3.
I,m an avid Madden Football player, and have played every version since the Sega Genesis. This is the first xbox 360 version I have purchased though. The previous ones have been terrible, and I stayed with the xbox one last year, thought it was great. I wasn't too sure about this year, but after playing it since it's release, I feel it is the best Madden yet. They have added a lot more player attributes, and created much more depth, and strategy with this. This version also has the full franchise mode, which is all I ever play, so I appreciate that. If you like Madden Football games, you will like this years as well, if you don't, then this will not change your mind. As a side note, I dislike EA Sports for signing an exclusivity deal with the NFL, and preventing any other competition. I blame the NFL though more for this than EA Sports, american football is my favorite sport, and I dislike some of these contracts the NFL has been signing lately, such as the Direct TV package, same as the Madden football, no other cable provider is allowed to offer their customers a football package. I think this is a great disservice the fans, and blame the NFL for this. In an effort to support competition, I did go out and purchase the NFL 2k8 game. I think the player animations are much better in 2k8 than Madden, much smoother, and realistic looking. I think though, 2k8, in an attempt to beat Madden 08 to market, rushed the game out. It has a lot less features than Madden 08, both in player control, and there is no Franchise mode, only single season. Unless you like to play online, the replay value is limited. I would like to see them address these issues for next year, and if so I will continue to support them by purchasing the game. I like the pressure it puts on the Madden development team for improvements.
Quality and gameplay is good for madden 08, but there are too many fumbles and a ton of INT's. In a way i like the INT's becuase there was too many dropped picks in 07. If u get 08 make sure you have a ton of patience...
