Yesterday I downloaded Splosion man. As soon as I selected Download, it popped up saying "Splosion Man" is Done Downloading.

I downloaded Castle Crashers and Worms 2: Armageddon and they both took me about 2-3 min each.

I don't know if Splosion man downloads really fast for everyone, or if this is part of the update, but I was just really amazed how short it took.

So, from my question, "How long does it take YOU to download XBLA games?"

when I downloaded Ikaruga, it automatically said download finished when I clicked "confirm download." Mv2 took about 5 minutes or less. BF 1942 took about 10 minutes. can't remember how long Splosion Man took.

I'm not sure. Quickly enough to make me happy. I'm guess some where between 1 to five minutes. Really depends on the size.

My first xbox would take FOREVER! Now mine only takes a few minutes. BF:1943 only took 2-3 minutes. But my first one was just utterly insane. I'd wait hours of not playing online just to get a DEMO! And then... I found out about background downloading years ago lol.

Kind of reminds me of the time it takes to download content for original x-box games. Everything for the 360 downloads fairly quickly for me. But when I download stuff for the original x-box it takes ages. Namely the Halo 2 DLC. The content regularly becomes corrupt for me, so it's not unusual for me to have to redownload it all and it usually takes some where between half an hour to an hour to donload it despite it only being about five hundred megabytes. I've downloaded demos that exceed a gig in less than half that time.

Wow our systems must be clones, my Halo2 stuff took about 3 tries due to corruption. Are you cable or dsl?

Cable. I think it's due to emulation.

Time varies but it's pretty fast, like less or about 5 minutes, I'm using wireless too. Downloads are faster on my 360 than my other consoles.

That was probably exactly what the issue was..mines DSL so that rules that out. My demos (1gb+) download very fast.

You probably already had the trial version downloaded when you bought it, right? That's why it was instant, all it had to was unlock the full game, it didn't have to download the game.

I have pretty slow net speed. [ 60/m for only 1.25 mb/s ] So about 35mb would take me like 4 mins. I use wired for my xbox and wireless for my laptop.

I roughly 2 MBs a second on my connection. So, a 50 MB download takes 25-30 seconds.
