halo 2, gears, halo 3, cod 4, GTA IV, the darkness, bioshock, rainbow six vegas 2
i preorder almost all my games just because theres no negatives to doing so. you dont pay extra and youre guaranteed a copy on release day. i dont see why more people dont do it
With GTAIV coming up and a lot of people reserving it, I decided to, and have only pre-ordered one other game besides it (Sonic and the Secret Rings) (ugh :P) and was wondering how many games you guys have pre-ordered before and which ones :)sly_fiz
Zero
Pre-Ordering is the dumbest sh!t i've ever seen
Loads of games - I usually have atleast 2 on preorder at any one time. How many have I preordered in my lifetime? Definitely the 11+ category, but probably closer to 50 - from signing a list in a store for Doom 2, through to GTAIV this month.
BUT I think UK pre-ordering is different to US pre-ordering. When I pre-order games I don't pay anything until the game is sent to me. There is no cost to preordering, and the games arrive on launch day by post. I don't have to go to the store, and I don't have to have paid for it in full weeks or months before. The US system just seems weird to me - why would you pay for something weeks ahead of getting it?
i pre ordered halo 3, and now GTA 4 which will be the best game made for the 360 hands down
i wanted to pre order orange box but the stores around wouldnt let me for some dumb reason
I ALLWAYS pre-order games. You can never be too careful :)xRmRxfreakBOMB
Only people who go to GameStop pre-order. Preordering is pretty stupid if you ask me. I go to my local electrionics retailer thats been around longer than GameStop. There is no such thing as pre-ordering there. I get my game regardless of time on release day. I think I only preordered 2 games in my entire life. I never even pre ordered big name titles like the Halo series.
My idea of "pre-ordering" is to buy the game on Play.com, like with GTA 4. Therefore, the whole transaction is effectively done and I will have the game on release day, perhaps even before. I wouldn't preorder a game physically in a game store, because then I would still have to go and get it, and you might as well not bother.ViscaBarcaInter
yeah that's in UK right?
seems like UK pre-ordering has a lot more laziness involved
