How many times you got RROD ?

I bought my 20 gb premium Xbox 360 on 2007 . I got RROD thrice so far . Microsoft exchanged my machine thrice no charge as i was under warranty . So i'm still using my 2007 HDD with last exchanged machine ( from last year ) . Praying it lasts me till new Xbox is out .

1st RROD i got for playing excessive Mass Effect on my Xbox 360 ( non stop ) .

2nd RROD my cuz responsible for 2nd RROD .

Third time i was suddenly getting green tint display so had to replace my console .

What about you ? How many times you got RROD ?

Even the first post says he sent it in to Microsoft to get repaired, he didn't but a new XBOX.

I've only had it happen once to the first box I bought about 4 years ago; I'm on my 3rd XBOX though.

Never, but the video card did stop woking. I can't complain though because I got it(20gig premium) back in 2006....it just stop woking about a year ago.

I got my Xbox in 2009 and it's still working pretty well! Hopefuly it will be my first and last Xbox 360.

Had my xbox for 2 years and somehow havent got the RROD yet although i sometimes leave it on all day and sometimes fall asleep with it on at night. I use it to watch fios tv, netflix, and play skyrim for extreme amounts of time. Its actually kind of loud though, is that bad?

It's perfectly normal for the older 360 models to be quite loud.

I got it three times. It really became quite the chore to send it back to MS

Once from my early 06 360 the refurb model they sent me has been working fine for four years now still using the 20gb hdd haha

3 times and oddly enough all of them came after a Microsoft update. but Microsoft took care of it....

I have 2 360's, for almost 3 years now, they still work brilliantly. My RE5 360 is a little loud, but so is my neighbourhood.

Got my xbox in 08. Still works prefectly.

1 rrod after BLACKOUT! .... but happend once and my xbox is over 3 years now.

The newer Xbox 360 as Kinect ones are RROD free ?

I got my Xbox 360 S on February 2010 and it still working pretty well, no RROD so far.guildclaws

Yeah , older ones like mine get overheat easily if overused . Great to hear newer models've better cooling , i might invest in a newer model without worries since my running older machine is already out of warranty :)

Never. Bought my first 360 in Jan of 06. It ran like a champ until I traded it in for a Slim in June 2010. No problems with that one either.

I bought a second 360 for the back room in Feb of 08, and it's ran flawlessly so far. Both systems get played pretty much every day.
