Cheapest way is buying a Live card off Ebay... just make sure the seller is 100% and if possible, get a factory sealed card like I did. My year subscription to Xbox live cost 21 pounds, 11 dollars, give or take.
But that's why you look at the feedback and I bought mine from a Power Seller with 100% positive feedback and I was fortunate enough to have a Factory Sealed one as well, maybe it was pure luck, it was the first one I bought.
Circuit City always have the 13 month subscription card on sale for 39.99. Plus if you were already a live member the Diamond card gives another 10% off making it 36 bucks. Its the best deal I have seen in store
But it was factory sealed lol, in the original factory wrapping with Microsoft's Xbox logo across it. It was 100% authentic, but perhaps I was just lucky.
Well I suppose that it might me too much for some people, its actually relativly cheap copnsidering its a unified game service. Look at it this way, WoW cost $15 a month, multiply that by 12 months in a year and it totals up to $180 a year. Personally I'd rather pay $50 for multiple online games than $180 for one.
