I've grown bored of mine so I'm thinking of changing it. How often do you change yours, if at all?

and it said error you have other things assciated with it
-eg hotmail ,
so to cancel an xboxlive account you also gotta cancle your email which is prety lame because i dont want to cancel my email just my xbox live silver!
Never have, and I don't plan to. I'd rather use my money to buy something I'll actually enjoy. Like a game...
Never have and never will, the reason i say this is because when i was thinking of a gamertag i didn't just rush into a name, i took a while to figure out a name for my gamertag, and i made one which i knew i would like for years to come. ;)
I don't ever change it. Not because of money, but because am proud of what i did under that gamertag. I am mediocre player, but proud never the less.
Never have changed my gamertag. Having to pay money to do so is kinda crazy IMO. I took a little time to think of a gamertag that would fit me and be a little funny at the same time.
Microsoft makes me change mine at least 2 or 3 times a year, i just keep changing it to a variation of what it was before
Add one more never to that list for me. Its been my tag since the dawn of my pc gaming days (ages ago) and so will remain the very same.
I used to smoke a ton of pot and thought I had the best name in the world, Dank Green. But then I stopped smoking so much pot and got tired of people making pothead jokes on Live and changed it. I love my Live and PSN name now though.
never...my gamertag is my real life nickname that I grew up withAnti-Venom
Same thing here id never change it and mines is actually unique i think. Thats why people need to actually think about a good name before they make it and get stuck with something like a$$master3000 for the next 5 years. A good name is something youll never get bored of.
B. your friends on your list wont know who the heck you are and delete youSpire88
This is one of the main reasons I hate name changes. Over half of my friends have changed their names in the past month and a half and I have no idea who's who anymore.
i changed it one time lost all my achivements and friends now it seems ima have to change my new one cause i cant log in to my email adress (the one I have for this account, I used the one I really use with the old one), seems my email adress is hacked or something, and i tried logging in on xbox live.com and it says to choose a new payment method, which i used a 12 month card not cerdit card, so im moving right now, and i have to get my xbox out the pawnshop to see whats going on lol

a$$master3000  I kinda like that lolalways thought i'd keep it the same, since all my alliases are along the overlord lines, but I recently change mine so I could fit in a bit better with the clan I'm in, its 800 ms points, and that was mostly made up of spare change from other things.
I've changed it once. I was known as Vermilion since my old clan days on CoD1 (**AC** Alpha Company) and UT on the PC years ago, and had VermilionUK as my Gamertag when I signed up to Xbox Live. I felt I wanted a change last year though so I chose my new name. I had the ms points in my account anyway, and there was nothing worth buying at the time.
No doubt I'll probably change it back to Vermilion in a few years.
I've done it twice, embarrassing really, I changed it once at like 2 in the morning and thought it was a good name. Turned out the next day it wasn't so I changed it back. I think I'll keep my current one for now, can't go simpler than your name.
Never, your becoming bored of your name? Maybe you should pick a name you actually like before making one.
