How old is your X360?

Just curious as to how old is/was your most long-living Xbox 360.

Also, please post its chip (Zephyr, Xenon, Falcon, Jasper, etc (?)), your average daily gametime and if it had a cooler on it.

Mine's running for about nine months now, average of four hours a day (less on weekdays, more on weekends) no cooler. First 360.

not to bash on xbox 360, but just this month its a year since I got the system and it had gone red circle twice. despite this mishap its still a good system. good times.

Man, the 360 failure seems so random. My friend has a 2005 Zephyr 360, with a cooler, and it hasn't even gotten ONE RROD. On the other hand, I have a friend who's paid fully for three consoles in two years.

I guess it just goes back to how much time you play straight..

mine is 2 years old.

Don't remember, but I've had it replaced two times from the RROD. But it works perfectly fine now.

1 year next month. I don't know what the chip is, no cooler, and about 3-5 hours of gameplay a day.

1 year and 18 days...and guess what? it already broke!!!!

Got my console March 2006, by early 2008 I'd went through 4 RRODs & 1 faulty disc drive. Then MS sent me a newly manufactured console said to have been upgraded with newer parts & that I wouldn't be having anymore problems. No problems since.

I think my original (Nov'05) lasted a year and a half. my newer ones haven't lasted as long. On my fifth when this one comes back. =-)

Seems quite pessimistic. I guess I'll have around another 6 months with my 360 and then buy a DS.

My current 360 is 10 months old and it's a Falcon. My previous 360 lasted me about 2 1/2 years and it was a Xenon. I'm hoping I don't have to replace it again.

April 2007, don't know what chip. The system itsself never failed, just had my power cord replaced. :)

It's two years old, I play it about five to seven times a week for about five to ten hours. Yeah... I have an addiction.

My old one started to not read disks. It was about to last 2 years. Now I got an elite with the newest chip (Jasper?). And it's running strong. Way quieter than my old one.

My last 360 broke at the beginning of 2008 which lasted me since 2006 I believe. Have had the same one that they fixed for me since 2008 as well. This one is starting to have trouble reading discs though so it might be close to death :(.

Nearly 3 years. One repair.

19 months old and it's still going strong.

My 360 is 3 days old :P

Its gonna turn 1 in January ="( they grow up soo fast

well im not exactly sure but id say my current one has been running for over a year now maybe close to 2 years now and i its a falcon chip. My first 3 360s all had the original chip which probably why the kept breaking and they also used to scratch my games. My current one has never given me any problems problems though.

1st was launch- lasted about two years

2nd lasted less than a year

on 3rd, had it about 1 1/2 years I think.

Don't know about the first two, but my current one is a Falcon if that info about 14.2A = Falcon is correct.

None had coolers on them, none were well maintained (rarely dusted, never vacuumed), all were/are overused; since there are three heavy use gamers that occasionally use it as their main system it can be on 15+ hours a day for fits and starts (I for instance, will use it heavily for a month or two, then break a couple months). More than once they have been used about 2-3 days straight without a break.

I think mine is about 18 months old.

Got mine on New Year's Eve last year. Over 9 months then.

It had RROD for a second, then worked again. That happened about 3 months in. But no real poblems with it at all.

I got my 360 last October. I have no clue what chip it has, but I've never had a red ring or anything like that.

I don't know what Chip my Elite has but I've owned it for 2 years now and never had an issue.

got mine last december. its a 20 gig that i got at fye for 199

My Xbox is going on a year right now. It has the falcon chipset and have had no problems with it. I have no cooler on it and play between 10-20 hours during the weekdays. And 20-40 hours on the weekend

mines a launch 360 and is still working never had to send it in for repair but it does sound like a plane when its on lol i think im one of the lucky ones never had any problems:D
