how old were you gamers when you first started playing games?

I actually only gamed casually until about 6-7 years ago, at which point I jumped headfirst into the hardcore gaming world and have been addicted ever since.

My situation leaves me with a ton of good retro games that I have played/ want to play. So I'll never get bored with gaming :)

Almost 4

Christmas 1986, can't believe I remember that crap. But my parents got it for us, wrapped it, and put it under the christmas tree a few days early, and my older brother and eye peeled a piece of the wrapping off. When we seen what was wrapped, we were going nuts and couldn't contain ourselves. I think i wet my pants with excitement, I was 4.

well im 14 now, and my first game was probably crash bandicoot two and rayman..

so probably 4 cuz i remember my bro not being born at the time.. and my dad played games, he introduced me to resident evil at like 10 XD.

I started at the age of three years old I remember playing sega genesis and snes games gradually startedto getother consoles when they started to come out in the later years and I also remember going to arcades when I was little.

When I was like 4 or 5 I NES for Christmas (lol asked my parnets about this) was 1985.

Bout 3 or 4, I can remember playing two player mode in Super Mario Bros. 3 with my sis a long time ago

I was about 5 when my Dad got me a gameboy colour and Pokemon blue.

I was 12.......which sounds kinda old compared to what everyone else has posted.......

But I'm now 40......so this was back in the ZX-81 days - where games were on cassette tapes and had to be loading in with a tape recorder.....

I wish I had been born then. I always wanted to know what it was like to grow up with the Odyssey and 2600. I wish I could find a 2600 somewhere today.

when i was 5 years old. Had a nintendo 64 for like half a year and then got myself a ps1. Played that until i was 14 then got myself a 360

i was about 8 or 9 years old I'm about 35 now. So I guess I've been playing about 20 years or so.spirit_777

When were the days of the Sega Mega Drive? When it came out, that forever changed my world. I still remember that duck shooting game on the nintendo. Nothing beats a classic

Probably 4 or 5. I just have some very vague memories of an Atari and then a few clearer ones on Mario, bowling, and Tetris

i was 4 when i ust to play at my cousains he had an original playstation one , i thought it was the coolest thing ever, then when it was my 5th christmas i was lucky enough for my parents to buy me one obvs it was the best xmas ever all day on tekan and aliens and crash bandicoot . i discoverd multiplayer on the pc at like 12 on medal of honour allied assault which im still convinced is the greatest game of all time lol

I didn't start playing until my college years, so maybe 18 or 19. Nintendo was my system of choice back then.
