Mine was a year old when it died(RROD) this december(2007). I´m waiting for my new console to reach my hands tomorrow after I sent it back to Microsoft for repairs. Judging by the Serial Number they are sending mea new console thatwas built on the 50th week(december) of 2007(according to this website:http://blog.iamjay.ca/2007/03/19/your-xbox-360-serial-number/ ), so I guess its the new 65nm chipand HDMI included console.
Well I had my first 360 when it was the first day it came out so two years but two months ago I had the RROD. But too day I'm getting another 360 so pretty much the one I'm getting is brand new. one.
i got my 360 on 14/6/07 it got the red rings of death after like a week so i got it replaced for free then my second 360 lasted for about 4 months and i got a 3rd 360 new manufactured and working perfectly
my 1st 360 lasted almost 2 years. it was a premium. now im waiting on best buy to send me something so i can go buy a new one. not sure if i'll get an elite or just another premium. hopefully it will be soon.
i purchased my console from Costco like 3 months ago. So it is fairly young. it is my first 360, and i doubt i'll get another one (or have to repair this one).
About 8 months old and about to die. Got the RROD when it was 6 months old (Lol microsoft you're so good at making electronics) and it's been showing signs of death (An RROD and it not working ever again) ever since.
Second console btw, not sure why I stick with micro$oft after dealing with this crap.
