[QUOTE="CannabiCulture"][QUOTE="jacim91"]Look i know that pirating is wrong but understand that is kind of reasonable becuase ppl in the USA just pay 70 dollars for a brand new game while at argentina you are paying 90 dollars for a game but as we use Pesos (the argentinian coin) we are actually paying 300 pesos a game, imagine yourself paying 300 dollars a game would you ever buy one??. In my opinion thats way tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much money for a game and for ur info i payed my 360 over 810 dollars and that would be 2600 pesos, now imagine paying 2600 dollars a xbox 360, doesnt sound good right??. So although pirating is wrong is the only way for some of us.Travis_Odell
Money has different values. If I went to mexico and bought a game for 300 pesos, i wouldnt hand them 300 american dollars..same for other countries and currencies.
And to add to that "how does pirating hurt us", if everyone stole a game, no one makes money, people lose jobs (eventually) AND developers wont get the set amount of cash they need to go on to bigger better projects. You may not think its a big deal now, but think of what happened to the music buisness, 10 years ago you could make a good living as a musician and now that everyone steals music, its very hard to live off a musician salary (unless your a rapper who gets money from endorsements or other products)
Bro the people behind Gears make so much money they don't know what to do with all the cash, calm down if you knew you could get away with a bootleg copy of gears you would not have typed the lower half of that.
I think that people who are the best in their industry and work hard deserves to "make so much money they don'y know what to do with the cash". Talented, passionate and hard-working individuals in any type of profesion deserve to get very well compensated. Let's not over-complicate things. Simply put, Employees at Epic didn't work 40+ hours a week to hand you a game for free. Travis, do YOU work for free?
I have pirated many games in the past, but I grew up and realized that I wanted to be socially responsible. I do agree, however, that the steap prices of video games encourage piracy.

That's what the American dream is all about.
Funny how these people say pirated things are bad and wrong yet, they use Limewire/Torrents to download music/movies for their iPod.

Downloaded it,pirated copy,or he was lucky. Lets just say the first two are most likely.craigalan23
Yup, those are the 3 reasons soe people are playing already. Either downloaded it or got lucky and found a copy very early. Im sure both things are happening

No no i do not work for free but im not getting paid as much as the devs either so its a win win situation, and you say you don't pirate any more because you grew up and realized you was going to post it in a forum? don't act like its a big deal no-one with gears is losing any sleep over it.
