exactly... i learned my lesson with the darkness.. i spended 60 bucks on that game... i beat the campaign... n now wut?... yeah it has a MP... but it sucks...no one plays that game online...(i got it for the ps3 i dont know if ppl plays that game on xbox live)

Yeah, as great as The Darkness is, it's just a little too short. I love the game, but the multiplayer pretty much sucked. At least BioShock seems much longer then The Darkness, but even still, once you beat it, it's pretty much over. To be honest though, I will still pick it up....I can't resist.:cry::P

WOW reviewers are tripping, it's suppsoed to be this RPG game with FPS and it's not even worth playing over? why are they giving it a good review?

"Now what?" is the question that nobody thought of because the hype overshadowed anything concerning the replayablility ofthe game. It was always a rent. Unless they come out with downloadable content which puts some more to the story, or some new weapons, or powers, or even a multiplayer then this game should be bought, but so far it's just a rent. killercuts3

Ok, its a SP game think about how many people buy a movie and the story only lasts two hours now a game that lasts about 14-20 hours is an even better investment because when you play it you are part of the story and you can play it as many times as you want.

Bioshock seems like the kind of game to me that I'll beat a couple of times, get 1000/1000 on it, then in a few years I'll replay it and say "wow, this game was so awesome".

I love those kind of games.

If you're saying that because you don't believe him, check his profile on Xbox.com. He's not lying, he actually beat it. He was one of the lucky ones who got it before the official release date.

I'm sure they still have tons of copies left, they just can't sell them anymore. They got in trouble. And no, the only expensive ones are the ones being sold on ebay.

According to the developer you can play through this game really fast just like a FPS and it will last about 15 to 20 hours - this is obviously what you did.

They also said for those who want to really explore the free roam world and read all the notes and do everything there is to do - in other words taking your time to explore - that this game would last in upwards of 60 hours.

It will provide different expereinces for different players and if you're just trying to see how fast you can finish it - then it won't take long. If on the other hand you take your time to explore and check all the areas - then it will take a good bit of time.

You obviously sped through it - which is fine that's how it's designed to let you choose how long it takes, but don't say it's too short when you chose to play the "short version" of the game.

most of the guys that have it and already beat it on the xbox bioshock forums said 20-25 hrs on medium and 25-32 on hard

thats a lot of play time for a FPS, especially considering you'll have to play it at least twice to get all the achievements

I hope it was a great experience for you. You should really take a moment and enjoy it. If you just blow through it and say "what next," then I don't think you will be able to fully enjoy everything. Maybe single player games aren't for you?

But damn, I wish I got Bioshock right now. A game doesn't get straight 9s and 10s for no reason... Everyone should take their time with this one.

I don't know if you've been following news but some people got it early because some Toys R Us's broke the street date. A lot of people were able to get it.
