No alot of stores beat the street date. In Nyc alot of independent stores don't really care about the "gamestop" religion of preorder or no game, which is why i don't care for gamestop and there new ways. Guy by me will have it in later today or tommorow for anyone to get also here. Nyc and im sure as many of cities or small towns with independent stores will beat street date. Not sure what the big deal of a few days is other then i can understand you cannot play online. Companies still get there money. I had Eternal Sonata for a week before it came out although i have still only put 40 mins into it, good game though just i work alot.

you obviously dont know much...it has gone gold, meaning it gets shipped a couple days before the release TO MAKE SURE it is there, my store got about 50 copies(its a small store) to bad they didnt let me buy it =\
