but, im getting an xbox 360 for christmasand I was wondering 2 or 3 things. One: If i got an elite would it be less likely to break? Two: I was thinking on 4 games which are - Earth Defense Force 2017, Skate, Naruto, ( i hate naurto but, i have my reasons) and Blue Dragon.

Any Opinions?

Not everyone has the same taste in games, so while those games you listed have great scores, not everyone will agree that they are good or want to buy them.

I haven't played Blue Dragon much, but it is very enjoyable from what I've played so far.

As far a breakage, you never know. I have a Premium and have had zero problems with it. As for the games... if you want EDF 2017 get Lost Planet instead, way better, lacks a coherent story, but better. Skate - maybe. Naruto - They say its the best Naruto game yet... but that isn't saying much. Blue Dragon - I have heard good and I have heard bad. Let him pass or take him out quietly, your call.

:lol: Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect aren't even out yet.

I have heard that the failure rate of the Elite is much lower than the older models, but all the newer manufactured models have a better output anyway. There is a thread on xbox.com however of people who have had as much problems with the Elite as others have.

As long as you take care of your hardware there should be no problems. Microsoft knows what the problem is and have been doing their best to fix it.

Thanks, ill look into the elite, and as for the games...lost planet looks good but for some reason that really low budget hunk of a game looks soooo fun. Skate im sure ill get i think. as for Naruto i dont know it looks kinda cheezy cause all the game play i have seen from it looked the same ( running up walls finding things, speed things).

Blue Dragon, from what i have seen and heard is a really boring game on the reviews, but from actual people's opinions i've heard that game is awsome. i know its my opinion on games but in general, is Skate, Blue Dragon, or EDF 2017 any good? I like hearing from actual people than just video reviews.

lol Y shouldent i get blue dragon? imean come on, it is exactly like dragon quest in ways and although about half the game probably is boring, it does look uniqe to and fun (mostly)

Get hte elite, the extra hard drive space is great. Dont get any of those games, theya rent good, except skate. Get Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Gears, Oblivion, The Orange Box, and Halo 3. Those are the best games out right now.hillelslovak

and then get xbox live(skate is ok online but naruto is really addictive with the forest of death exam)

Of course he is, when I was 12 I got a stack of books. But they were the Redwall series so I was a happy camper.

Earth Defense is awful, dont waste your money on it.

If you want a REALLY good game in place of that, get Oblivion. You said you cant get M games, but this game WAS rated T for teens until someone found a glitch on the PC version, and caused all the Oblivions to get changed over to M. U can argue that with your parents if you wish. But good luck with the 360, and i have an Elite, and i love it!

get someone else to buy you M games

actually its the first sysyem i ever am gunna ever get thats any good so im just way exited and i sneak M games at my friends house. lol thanks for all the replies. Ill get skate because i got a ton of replies on that, naruto for online or watever, and ill try to beg my mom for the other 1 or 2 ( blue dragon and EDF 2017). Ill try assasain's creed at my friends cause he is not a gamer but has been wanting the game sainse the day it was announced.
