You obviously know almost nothing about the Halo series. Plus, this isn't some low budget movie being directed by Uwe Boll were talking about here, this is a $100 milllion dollar plus budget being backed by 20th Century Fox and being produced by Peter Jackson. And this Brad Pitt crap is false, the movie just got picked up, they aren't even in the casting stage yet. Besides, theres only one person who could play the Chief and thats the voice actor who plays him in the games. The movie doesn't need some superstar actor to play the Cheif, they would ask for too much money and you wouldn't even see his face so why even bother?

What is so wrong with Steve Downes voicing the master cheif? Were not talking about an "actor" were talking about a "voice actor" meaning that anyone who can read a script could do the part. We never get to see the Cheif's face so what happens when he talks and it sounds nothing like the Chief? Steve Downes has done a great job voicing the chief over the years, why couldn't he voice him in the movie?

What about the actor who played "Nemisis" on the last Resident Evil movie? Even without the costume, that guy was enormous. He had a great build, he's about 6-5 (maybe) and I think he would fill in nicely. They could get Steve Downes to voice over while the big guy wears the suit. All of the "fancy" stuff would have to be done digitally though. I looked the big guy up. His name is Matthew G. Taylor. He is appx. 6'6, and probably 285 lbs.Very well built.

it seems winona Ryder does a voice of a few people in Dragon age too. one in particular at the moment I am playing (she is just an NPC) where the character is standing opposite someone called Tercy. Anyway my question is who does TERCY's voice (in Orzammar and also she is a Chantry women in Denerim) the girl opposite winona. Not winona herself.??? anyone know??

He's got an athletic build. I'm pretty sure he could fight just fine.

On a side note, if the Sarge from Aliens isn't playing Johnson in the Halo movie I won't see it :P
