How many people got the RROD? How many times and when? Up to Down or Left to Right (Position)???
**Sophina's Edit: Please keep discussion of RROD and other broken 360 issues in the dedicated sticky thread found at the top of the board. Thank you!**

I've had one since January 2006. My first one got 1 red light being a little over a year old, I sent it in for repairs and had to pay $100, and then about 7 months later (a month after Halo 3's launch) it came down with 3 lights (RROD). I brought it to my local gamestop where I have a friend and he swapped it out for me with another one. So far this one has been going strong.
Also, you poll makes no sense. "Did you get RROD before or after June 2008?" And then your answers are Yes or No. So are you basically just asking "Have you ever had the RROD?"
I haven't got a RROD but I did get an E74 after about 2 years with my premium. I got a new arcade to replace it and I'm loving it. It has the newer hardware so it's MUCH quieter even when loading.
Anyway I'd say it's only getter safer with the new models out and MS extending warrenty for RROD. Oh and definitly lay it horizontal. You're just asking for trouble standing it up.
I got my Pro System last XMAS and just a few days ago I ended up with one RROD in the lower right position. Error Code E-74, which has to do with the motherboard/power supply feed area.
So yeah I already called the service line and I', still waiting for my E-mail to ship it to them.

With the arcade can you just purchase a Hard Drive then it is a normal Xbox 360?

Yes you can but if you're buying a 360 for the first time then you're better off getting a premium or elite. It's cheaper then buying a HDD separately.
