my onlines out for a week and a half, so what's a good single-player game.

games I own

-Call of Duty 4

-halo3

-test drive unlimited

-devil may cry 4

- rock band

The Orange Box combines some amazing single player games and one multiplayer game. I HIGHLY reccomend it. Other than that, some of my favorites were Bioshock and The Darkness.

I enjoy Rainbow Six Vegas single player, or maybe some Splinter Cell Double Agent.

Oblivion and Mass Effect are good choices and if you want a brutal horror one i say Condemned 2.

burnout paradise has alot to do in the offline mode, it would keep you busy until your internet is back. Then you can take it online.

Bully is great breezy fun. And the technical issues have been patched. It is a tad easy, I only had to retry a handfull of missions, but it is very deep.

Oblivion GOTY and Mass Effect will last you months. Just be prepared to give away your social life for Oblivion GOTY. Addicting and 100+ hours.

Universally, Dead Rising and Hitman: Blood Money are solid recommendations. Personally, I also liked Amped 3 and Bladestorm.
