I want Diablo III and StarCraft 2 on Xbox 360!

But I will never happen, and my pc sucks.

Its not going to be a huge hog on computers from what ive heard, should work on most pcs.

Games like Diablo and Starcraft don't usually play well with a controller.

I just hope my PC can handle them, we'll see.

I think Starcraft 2 may be coming to 360, but we are way too early to know about Diablo 3

But for me Diablo 3 is something I would only buy for PC. The 360 is great, and has almost completely taken me away from PC gaming to only using my 360, but Diablo 3 is one for the PC.

maybe they should start by putting the originals of all 3 series on XBLA?

I think D3 would work fairly well on 360, SC2 may be a diff. story.

Blizzard developing for a console? I dont think so. They wont pay MS or Sony to have either Starcraft or Diablo III on a console. They have solid fans on the PC already, and those two franchises are the most popular. Beside, Blizzard doesnt have to worry much about software piracy because the biggest selling point of these two games is online. Who buys either game for the single player content?? I dont think I ever finished Starcraft single player campaign and Diablo is all about loot on you character in BNet. Also, the more players, the better loot!

Blizzard games are never intensive.. and judging from the screenshots, 8 year old computers could run D3 and SC2.

Spend the 600$ to upgrade your PC.

Trust me, you don't really want to play either of these games on a 360 controller. Mouse and keyboard is the only way to go imo. The Wii controller *might* be able to pull it off somehow, but the hardware is a whole other issue.

Bottom line, if you want to play Blizzard games you need a PC. Fortunately their games have relatively low hardware requirements so you won't have to spend much money to be able to play them well.

I liked the Baulder's Gate and Champions of Norath games on PS2. If Blizzard did a control scheme like those games Diablo 3 would be perfect on the 360 and PS3. Also, xbox live or PSN would work great for multiplayer.

yeah most of us console gamers have crappy PCs. Its just so much cheaper to buy a 360 or ps3 and games than to upgrade your pc to play new games on it.......... but i might just have to upgrade my PC to play diabloIII, the game-play trailer is awesome!

I definitely don't want them coming to 360. It'll just be a severly dumbed-down version anyways. If you're looking for something similar to Diablo, you could always check out Sacred 2.

I don't know how you dumb down Diablo. Diablo is an extremely straight-forward RPG.

Speaking of Sacred, it'll be interesting to see how that works on the 360. Several people in this thread have alluded to nigh-insurmountable control difficulties in a Diablo-type game. If they come up with something that works for Sacred, there's no reason they can't do Diablo. As to RTSs, Command & Conquer 3 was decent on 360. It would have been much smoother with a mouse/keyboard, but it wasn't unplayable with the controller.

diablo 3 and starcraft 2 are not even being made by it's original developers (blizzard north), those guys left when vivendi bough blizzard.

From the state of things, WoW mostly, major class imbalance, paladins are plated nurses and lack of originality on TBC I can see that I'm not buying any blizztard game. (although I loved, SC, Wc 2 and 3, and diablo 2)
