they would break the halo 3 street date and bundle it with a large plasma/home entertainment system, i think the profits would out weight the penalitze.

what u guys think?

Uhh..gamers who are interested in buying Halo 3 MIGHT be coaxed into buying a 360 (Halo edition or not) along with it, but a Plasma and home entertainment system? That would hardly work..and no there aren't going to be any profits there..

no point in breaking the street date, these kinds of sales normally happen after the game is released, that said, i think near christmas, i wont be surprised if the 360 is being bundled with forza 2 and halo 3, in certian stores, dont know about the tv, i v seen those sales, its a possibility but breaking the street date is out of the question.

i dont think someone is gonna spend like $1500 on a tv just to play halo 3 a couple days early

We (i work at bestbuy) would not do it, doing soand we would not get future shippment of halo 3 for a while, like till after Xmas.
