If I erase the game save data for a game, will that also erase the achievements?

I want to wipe out all of the game save files that I have for Bioshock 2. If I do, will that also erase any achievements I had for that game?

There's no possible way of removing achievements from your profile, unless they're achieved offline and you erase your profile. If you're connected to xbox live, all achievements achieved are saved automatically with microsofts online servers and can never be removed.
