Obviously the best thing to do is put the games you're currently playing onto your hard drive. Pointless topic.

You are best off installing games that require a lot of loading times, or games that are scratched so that they work faultlessly. I installed GOW2 because I play online alot and it works the same just with reduced xbox noise.

you still need the disk to play the game, installing mostly prevents the scratching..

No it will work so long as the xbox can read the whole disc to install it, so in the case of the disc being ruined it would not work miracles. Though if it is slightly scratched and gameplay is jumpy installing it would probably fix the problems.

Exactly. My friend's copy of Prototype is like that. Just install the games you currently play. Then you get a new delete the install file and install that one.
