Not at all. I think the M rating should be lowered to 14 or 15. 1 year lower than AO? Come on!

But no, Ive been playing M rated games for several years now and Im 16. When I have Children, Ill let them play M rated games after theyre 12years old if they want to, as long as they know its just lights on a television screen

M rated games are for people 17 and older so I don't know why anyone here that's 17 would have a problem purchasing games. Anyways, I just used to bring my parents when I would buy a game, they're cool with it.

I didn't have an ID until about a month ago, so before then, I always had to have my mom with me when I wanted to buy an M rated game. I even had to have my mom come with me when I went to buy a Halo 3 controller last November because the CONTROLLER was rated M!Ignignokt104

I'm 15, and my parents didn't want me to play any M games until about a year ago (I still did any way at my friends house) but they finally gave in because they realized I was definitely mature enough. Sucky thing though, is that now my 12 year old brother gets to play the games i had to wait to play (at least he isn't the annoying kind of kid on live)

My parents are fine with it, but then again my dad is a gamer as well. I'm actually 17 now but I did play Quake 2 at several LAN parties against my dad's friends when I was about 10. I was the only kid at the event, and I actually capped a few flags.

You do realize that they have parents too? In fact, normally on Live I can hear them screaming at their kids to go to bed.

My parents let me make my own choices in life in what I do see and watch, whatever happens is my consequnce.insanewolfninja
