I would be my character in Fable 2 because i have some pretty sweet knight armor from knothole along with the Halo Assault Rife. Or I would be Mater Chief you cant mess with the Chief. :) :)

that movie kicked ass and liam neeson is a god. but i would be superman because he can fly and stuff. yeaaa... movie? wtf are u talking about? fallout 3 is a game...:?
So... A lot of the characters you guys would choose have horrible childhoods and or horrible endings/deaths with even more trying and tragic obstacles you have to go through. I'm not sure if you guys would really want to go through all that. i.e. Master Chief-all your friends are dead/killed, you are the last of your kind, can't live a normal civilian life, your family probably dead, your best friend is only an A.I. , and you are considered property of a government. And your only vacation is cryo freezing. Not exactly a good time. But I guess such is the life for most video game characters in all honesty, such tragedies needed to be overcome in order for the character to succeed in their mission. I wouldn't mind being Squall, the Neverarine, or Commander Shepard. Probably more but they get to experience such amazing events in their stories that the experience alone can be worthy of the tragedies they overcome.
