The xbox will work find in whatever position you put it . Just dont listen to ppl saying that playing the xbox vertically will cause the xbox RROD>>>IT DOESNT. ANd Killzone 2 doesnt play in the xbox becuase it a blu-ray disc and the firmware on the xbox 360 is different then the ps3

OK then....

A couple of days ago, my 360 suddenly froze when I was playing Lostplanet.

I turned it off, but stupidly done so by switching off the main electricity switch..... I waited a bit, and powered everything back on. 360 got the RROD. It's only been 2 months as well. However, I tried it again and it worked. It's been OK since... for now.

So, my question is, will my 360 get thr RROD soon?

Okay, how about this.

To go online with my Xbox, I use an ethernet cable to plug it into the wall. There is only one outlet for internet in the room where my Xbox and computer are, so I have to switch out.

Recently my Xbox decided to stop going online. I have tried different cables to plug it in, but it doesn't want to connect to the internet. When I test the connection, it says that there is a problem between the network and my internet.

I don't think that there is a password, I have never needed one before. I know that my wireless internet has a password, but I don't use it.

When I plug my computer into the outlet, it works fine, but my Xbox has decided not to go online for some reason.

Thoughts?

I had a really weird problem recently and Xbox tech couldn't tell me what was wrong...

Just bought a new 120gb hard drive to replace my 20gb one. Data tranfer went fine. But when I connected up the new hdd, an internal beep sounded from my console (sounded like the warning beep from a computer motherboard). This beep continued to go off at random moments, particularly during heavy loading times.

Getting it exchanged anyway, but curious as to what was wrong. Hdd worked fine otherwise... Found a few forum posts from people with same issue and seems to be connected to the 120gb size, often occurring with elites.

Hey man, good thread. I got the one red ring on my xbox last night. Any advice on what to do? Either send it in to get it replaced/repaired for $125, buy an Arcade Xbox cuz I already have the hard drive, or just buy a PS3. Thanks in advance!Dats_Wet

i have proplem with my gamer tag i found it slow when i use the marketplace and to make sure that not the xbox proplem i made new gamer tag i found the new one is faster than old one a way faster so can you help me with this and by the way my speed is 2 MB i think its good for marketplace in xboxlive

Ok I have a legit question. After I got my xbox back from the repair center, it no longer signs my onto my live account automatically. I have to sign it on manually every time I turn the system on. How to I change it back to where it signs on automatically?UT_Wrestler
