I can't send messages or party invites to certian friends over xbox live. Why is this and how do I fix it?zeorshadow19
Messages or party invites? Try having them remove you (or you remove them) and send them another friend request (or have them send you another friend request). Accept it and see if that works. If not make sure you both have XBL Gold, because you need gold to join a partly. Last thing is that you both need to make sure your connection is set to open. Go to test xbox live connection and test your connection. Where it says NAT if it doesn't say open for both of you and maybe says moderate or strict, than that is your problem. One of you or both of you are probably using a router if the connection is not already open. If you need to know how to open your connection, let me know if everything else didn't work first.

for real dude? some say that the fan "steals" some power, thus making some parts of the motherboard do not receive enough power..

YEA, trust me those fans dont cause the problem. I Been modding xbox for a while and all the extra cooling devices that i put inside share power from the dvd power supply(It an adapter that allow you to put more extra led fans).AND THOSE MODDED XBOXs nEVER BREAAK. Like i told u microsoft blame these third party devices becuase miscrosoft like to create a monopoly with thier product.

Yea thats a problem with the video, Which means the Gpu is not getting enough pressure or too much pressure. You will probably need to fix by calling msoft for repairs or void your warranty and do it yourself by doing the x clamp fix. IT PRETTY EASY!!! all u need to do is open up your xox 360 and remove the x clamp and put bolts and washer to replace it. IT EASY !! ALL U NEED IS TO GET A TORX 9 SCREW TO OPEN IT AND BOLTS AND WASHERS TO FIX IT>> THERE ARE MANY TUTORIALS ON YOUTUBE. AND TRUST ME MY MANY XBOXs HAVE BEEN FINE FOR 2 YEARS AFTER THIS FIX AND COUNTING. IF u any question just pm me.CrazyAK-47

This guy speaks the truth. Ive fixed 3 xbox360's with RROD that exact way. Just replace that silly xclamp with something more sturdy (for both the gpu and cpu) with screws and washers, and then replace the thermal heatsink on the gpu/cpu. (Its good to clean both the gpu and cpu, even if just one of em is having a problem, clean em up then put that thermal heatsink stuff on). Then start it without the fan plugged in. Then after few mins it will give you TWO red lights instead of 3. Then turn it off and plug the fan back in and put your 360 back together (with the xclamp gone and replaced with something more sturdy). Wait and hour. Then it should work!

2 of the 360s i fixed are working over a year later. And my 360 i just fixed few weeks and and working nice.
