I'm big into online multiplayer gaming especially shooters, so I need help.

Halo 3 is mediocre at best.

Call of Duty 4, although having a short campaign, more than makes up for it in MP. Its amazing, best MP on 360.

I love Gears of War, but its not the best.

Call of Duty 4 > Gears of War > Halo 3.

Cod is so great and addictive, the respawn is the only bad thing about the game. Other than that its awesome. No hacker yet (I didnt see any)

GOW is great. Personally I like big battle/ 8-16 type games and this is only 4 vs 4, but it is great. I love the violence in the game. alot of hackers though, doing the rodeo run, crab walk and etc

Halo 3 is ok. I get bored of this game when im playing alone. Only time I play it is when my cousins get on and we just have fun. I heard it mess up you 360 also which is another reason I dont play it too much. But it is an ok game, make sure you have a free to play with though.

wait a little more (couple of months) the new battlefield and Rainbow6 are comming.

out of the games you listed, I would either go with gears or Cod4. I do like Halo3 but like another guy said, Im getting bored real quik when Im playing it by myself. you might want to buy if you do have alot of friends that play it.
