Funny, I just sold my PS3 because I haven't bought a new game in over 6 months. And the next year and a half looks like complete and utter shyte. Minus the cross platform games.
Plus the dual shock controller is still terrible after what.. 10, 12 years?
If my 360 dies again I'll deal with it, but not abandon a console that has the best selection of games.
I too thought the grass would be greener on the PS3 side. Unfortunately it is only equal and possibly less fun due to the lack of games. It is my opinion that the 360 (had mine since midnite launch) has a greater library of enjoyable titles that I personally like to play. I have only had my PS3 for about two weeks now and it has had more blu ray discs played on it than games. Just send it back and get it fixed.

To be honest I totally feel your frusteration with faulty 360's. I had mine fixed last month...but that's the first time I needed it repaired. I'll hold onto my xbox until I know how the future looks for its games.

I bought a xbox 360 from my friend for 80 bucks. It was practically brand new, all it did was sit there on his shelf thing and he played Fable once in a while, so he decided to sell it to me because I wanted one and for the price I think anyone in the right mind would buy it. Everything runs fine, EXCEPT it likes to stop working every couple hours because it sais my disk is dirty or damaged (the disk is in flawless condition). Its really annoying, expecially when I was playing Lost Odyssey, and anyone that has played that game knows how annoying it is when your playing for like an hour withouth saving and all of a sudden it just stops. So I can only imagine how annoying it is for you. Why can't they just make a video game system that does'nt destroy itself? WHY!? Its killing me, I love the games, but I hate the system.

Btw, my PS3 conked out and decided not to work one day. So it's not just the Xbox 360. You're dealing with electronics. Expect them to malfunction.
