I'm hyped! Help me decide.

Okay, so let me start by thanking you all in advance. I'm trying to decide on a game. I'm too young to work, so the last game I actually purchased was Halo 3, but since then i've rented most of the games that were considered huge, such as Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Naruto: RoaN, and Call of Duty 4. I've just received $40 from my aunt for no particular reason, and my cousin, the same one who bought Halo 3 for me, has promised to buy GTA IV for me. I was browsing for a good game to buy at the GameStop website, and after checking the trade-in-rates, I see that New Super Mario Bros. is worth $17, which I happened to have got for free from a friend who found it. I figure the value may have dropped a bit, probably to about $10-$15 if I'm lucky, and I would also sell Sonic Rush, adding another $5-$9 to my budget. With this in mind, my budget is between $55-$69, meaning I can essentially get any recent game I want.

Bottomline, can you all help me decide which game to buy? It must not be a sports game or racing game, as they bore me easily; it can be a shooter, preferably with a good online and offline (co-op) multiplayer aspect, and I like it to be a recent game.

I don't see why you need another game because you got COD4 and GTAIV is coming out in 2 weeks. lol.

Anyway, I prefer you to rent Army of Two because it has mixed reviews. If you like it, buy it. If you don't, then try out The Orange Box which is a big game. Five Games in One Box.

Gears of War or Rainbow Six Vegas 2 if you like tactical shooters.

It is very good, but it has one frustrating part. The money you make throughout the game and all the guns you buy get reset if you play back through it. You don't carry over marketplace gold. So you don't get to try out all the guns unless you keep playing back through it.

The online isn't great either. It's fun but it will have a shortlived community.

I had it, loved it, and played it frequently. Unfortunately mine received a nasty scratch, and it doesn't work anymore.

Just wait for GTAIV.

Orange Box is good though.

I would also say the Orange Box. I didn't like TF2 but if you haven't played the Half-Life Series yet you really should.

I also suggest Mass Effect, it's a slower pace then the rest of your games but the combat is all third person shooting. There is no multi-player in Mass Effect but it is an INCREDIBLE single-player experience, i had a constant feeling of awe through the entire game.

Whatever you choose have fun.

if your getting gta 4 then get orange box...best value for a person in your situation and plus its one of the best games out for the 360

but for the value you simply should have this game, and for how good it is
