Im tired of Racist people on Xbox live

this is why i cant wait for halo 3, when theres a racist person there, if he is on my team i would lets say weaken him when he enters a battle or if he is about to die from an enemy and comes to me for support ill simply throw down a grenade at his feet by mistake. now if hes on the opposite team i wont say a word but simply go extra hard on him and when he dies by my hands i'll t bag his head.Antox-RX8

People in America are racist because we have such a diverse culture. Its a mix of a lot of ethnicities (hence the name country of immigrants)and obviously theres going to competition/hatred between different races/people.

Don't try to justify a country's racism. Racism is just wrong period. No matter where you are, there is no excuse. For the live thing though, I hope something can be done, or prevented, like something that bleeps out the words when it hears you say it. They use those on the radio, so its not like that tech doesn't exist but, it might not be practical. Iono but something should be done.

Is it racism when your country is being invaded illegally? Where do you draw the line?

Well, the thing about "something should be done" is something that was said far longer than we can imagine. It well never stop.

And, to say "just unplug your headphone"... that isn't the point! how about "just keep your racist comments to yourself" instead? If a criminal kills a woman walking down the street a night, it's like blaming the woman for walking down the street and not the criminal for committing the crime.

You bring up a good point.

I wouldn't say everyone is a little "racist," but perhaps prejudice or hold some stereotypical view of people of other races. This is actually normal and inherit to humans because it's part of our group-cohesion of survival. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that whites will tend to be friends with whites, asians with asians, blacks with blacks, etc... Because of commonality of culture, interests, and background.

However, it is wrong to purposfully judge someone based on their skin tone, or degrade them because they are different from you. Unfortunately, this will always be a problem with humans.
