Improvements for NHL 09

whats kind of improvements do you think we should have on NHL 09. I would have to say that they should make the graphics a little bit more stream lined with the stick going through players legs. I would also have to recommend a more depth in modes as offered in nhl2k8 with skills competitons and such. THe controls are perfect, so do not change a thing! And lastly, i think you should be able to save replays and take screenshots. Any other ideas anyone???

If I had to suggest improvements...online play needs to be a little better, improved servers would be nice. They made great strides in NHL 08 since you can now actually set up in the offensive zone. The poke checking needs to be improved, because as it is the computer can just take the puck from you but you cannot do it back to them. Mainly just minor things, overall I feel that it's a pretty damn good game as it is!

Everything you said and better powerplay i know theyve improved it over 07 but Defence still need to pinch more.... also i would like more unlockables kinda like ESPN 2k5 had without a doubt the greatest hockey videogame ever

Remove spots where you can stand and the AI comes to a complete stop and doesnt try to do a thing.

i think it is good the way it is but more depth in the modes n also the replay thing u said. another thing that i thought would b pretty cool is to have a life mode like madden.

mmmm 2 month old threads...

I hope they let us save replays now (It blows my mind that they took that away) and maybe be able to upload them on a website like in FIFA 08.

I am definitly look forward to the new MMO thing this season. It sounds awesome, I just hope it delivers.

Better online. Everytime I try to play online its a total hassle downloading the roster. Also when ever you goto the pregame lobby you sit there sometimes for 5 minutes because no one is there and it will not let you leave.

I hope to god that they do not add a speed burst like was rumored. This feature will ruin the game in my opinion.

I don't want to seem like I don't like the game. It is incredible! It is probably my second favorite sports game after MVP 05. Best sports game on current gen consoles hands down.

You obviously aren't from the great north eh!

I would like a bit better controls, I hated the hitting sysetm, I found you had to load up your hits, and never hit your target on time, and I love the superstar mode, and the nhl online league, I think this one will be great.
