I really want to buy a good RPG game tommorow when I go in to town - I've already played Two Worlds and Oblivion, so I've narrowed down to these two. (Also, I'm buying Fable II when that comes out, so don't just suggest that too ^^)

Which do you think is best? Infinite Undiscovery or Lost Odyssey? Would be good to hear why aswell :)

Thanks

The two best rpgs on the360 are Lost Odyssey and Tales Of Vesperia. Infinite Undiscovery, Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon are godo to, just not as epic as Lost Odyssey and Tales Of Vesperia.

I have LO and I really enjoy it. I dont like walking 5 steps and getting pulled into a battle unwillingly but the story is really good, graphics are good and its really long. I have Infinate Undiscovery but i havent started playing it yet.

Yeah Lost Odyssey is must buy for rpg fans imo. Tales of Vesperia is very very good to. Maybe rent Infinite Undiscovery and see how you enjoy it.

you seem like you play final fantasy which means you must like a good plot. all i have to say is GET LOST ODYSSEY NOW. you will also feel right at home since it shares the same interface as most FF games (before Mr.Sakaguchi left SQenix). all in all, lost odyssey is probably the 2nd best JRPG on 360 after Tales of vesperia.

NOTE: you dont mention mass effect. you owe it to yourself to play it since it probably is the best 360 rpg.

Definitely LO, but don't be so quick to overlook Tales of Vesperia. It's a very good RPG in it's own right, especially if you've never played a Tales game before (makes it even better).

Ok, well looks like I'll get Lost Odyssey, and if I have enough money may get Tales of Vesperia in a week or so, just need to make sure I have enough money to get Silent Hill Homecoming at the end of the month too.

I've been playing Lost Odyessy the past week and it has everything that makes a JRPG great. It draws you in within the first ten miuntes of the game and you'll find it's hard to put down. I played this one throughout the night on some days, it's that good.

I am glad I read this thread. I've been thinking about getting Lost Odyseey for awhile but I haven't really been sure about getting it. This was all the motivation that I needed, thanks everyone :D

I'm probably the only one going to say this but personally, I would go with Infinite Undiscovery. I guess I'm more into action and I loved that about Infinite Undiscovery. Don't get me wrong; I loved Lost Odyssey as well but Infinite Undiscovery would be my pick.

LO is a much better game because of the story, combat system, characters, graphics, etc. The voice acting in Infinite Undiscovery grinds on my nerves....

To the OP, I would definately go with LO. Now to be honest, I have only played IU for about an hour so far but I don't really care for the combat system or anything. LO is more old school Final Fantasy type and I just love that. LO has a great story, amazing graphics, and it's a nice long game. Whichever you do decide on, I hope you enjoy it because they're both worth the money.
