 Still waiting for Flute Hero on the 360.

Some people just don't have the talent to play a guitar. A couple of my friends play the guitar, but I just don't have their talent. But isn't that the point of a video game? To do something you couldn't/wouldn't normally do.

Psh, why play just one...I play both. I've been playin guitar for about 4 years and I've had guitar hero since the first on the PS2.

I've been playing guitar for a few years now. Let's just say long enough to play what I want. I thought GH was for losers who can't play a real guitar who are intimidated by the real thing. After playing GH at my brother's the other day I changed my opinion slightly. GH2 is fun, but playing a real guitar is more fun and more rewarding. And seeing how GH is about 100 bucks, you can get yourself a cheap guitar for around that much. I got my first guitar from a pawn shop for around that much

While the game is fun, I won't ever spend $80-$100 for a plastic guitar to play songs I can play already. it's not like you are checking out the guy on screen either since you stare at the fret board the whole song, making graphics moot. So techincally GH2 is just GH1 with different songs?

i play guitar, and i stilll say this is a great game
to play. plus it will make u use fingers you may let slack once in a
while. my little finger doesnt get used like it should, this game will
bring its use back. (my little finger is very lazy and doesnt listen

You probably need to stop playing the same songs over and over and test yourself learning new material. Pentationic scales, blues scales, chord progressions and so on. Most people learn a few Nirvana songs and start reading some tabs and think they know enough but end up with a worthless pinky and stiff ring and middle finger.

i play guitar, and to your led zeppelin comment, i honestly think theyre overrated, but i do talk about other bands and how they rock...and as for this topic, guitar hero rocks
