I think a web browser on the 360 would be a great. I mean, consoles are about much more than playing games these days. I use my 360 for watching movies, streamed from my PC, as well as gaming. I have also on a few occasions, shown photographs through the 360, to my family and friends. And with the announcement that Sky TV is coming to the 360 in the UK, along with Twitter and Facebook, the 360 is now just as much an entertainment hub, than a gaming console. You would then need to imagine that a web browser is one of the next logical step.
You can see where all this is heading though. Microsoft want to do to all aspects of home entertainment, what Windows has done to the PC world. They want their technology at the heart of how we do everything, from watching movies, to listening to music, to communicating with family and friends. The lines between using a PC for these things, and a games console are now becoming ever more blurred. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, so long as everyone is getting what they want from their 360. Its ridiculous to think that your gaming experience would suffer because you can watch YouTube videos on your console.
