Hi, i have a problem. I want to connect my Xbox 360 to Xbox live, but my computer is located far away from my console so the internet cable is to short. So now im wondering if i have to use the cable that came with the console or will it work if i buy a regular internet cable (the type that is used on computers). This may be a silly question but i had to ask :)

Yep-Just buy a regular ethernet cable-i had to buy one about 5 metres long cos i have very same problem,but only cost me about £5.99 on ebay,and it is a ******.with lifetime guarantee.
