Ipod on xbox

Can anyone tell me why my ipod touch wont work on my xbox?

The xbox can't read any Ipod touches. The only ones it can read are Ipod Classics, and older nanos. Sorry bud.

Edit: Oh yeah... iPod Touch... Yeah... You're out of luck. There are other options that you could use but I'm not sure Microsoft is cool with you doing them since they are Nazis now a days.
