so i noticed recently that whenever i go on the forums or youtube, i see a whole bunch of people complaining about the red rings of death(when they can send it in to ms for free or do the towel trick whichalso works). i also see people complain about the four red rings of death which and how bad it is and in reality it's just that your a/v cord is not plugged in your 360(how simple is that?). so my question is , does anyone have a 360 and know of basic solutions to the three + four red rings, and how if youbreak a 360 game you can get a new replacement(say if i break my gears disc, i can send it in to microsoft and get a new gears disc for about 20 bucks) for 20 bucks.

Well, Ive gotten the 3 red rings a few times and all I did was plug everything in firmly and if that doesnt work just keep it off for a few days.

I dont know about the other stuff, sorry.

My solution would be to send it to MS and to buy a used copy of Gears. They will not do anything for your game. At launch if Core owners had faulty systems MS would send them Hard Drives as an apology while I had a Premium and did not get anything so I was punished by not getting the least expensive of the two.

I am not stupid... I just know from experience that it is inconvenient to be forced to send your Xbox off for a couple weeks (especially w/ so many good games coming out now).

Just call some local electronic/computer repair shops and see how much it costs and how long it will be. Thats what Im doing, I did it with my original xbox, Ill be damned if Im going to send my 360 off again for several weeks at the moment lol

Your whole post was directed toward other people though... not yourself. People aren't stupid to be angry that their 360's break. I payed hard earned cash for my system, and while I will never regret the purchase, it is still damn inconvenient to have to send it off because MS made some onforseen design flaw.

when you see the entire world as being stupid, at that point, most people would start thinking "hm....maybe it's me"
