I'm really hoping that one of those games can dethrone FFX as my favorite RPG. I'm actually surprise that I havent played a better RPG yet... what's even more surprising that 360 users are finaly geting some RPG love thats not comming from Bioware or Bethesda.

I'm keeping an open mind. I'll probably get Lost Odyssey b/c my gf wants it, but she doesn't like cel shading and I think Eternal Sonata's storyline is ludicrous so I'm going to hold off on a review... the demo was pretty decent, but I think the story is just ridiculous.

Lost odyssey is one of my top games im anticipating for the big lineup of '07. Have you guys seen the short clips on the trailers even on the xbox 360 montage? Looks amazing! I just hope it's long and very customizable. Eternal Sonata interested me for a while, but once I played the demo, I found it rather too linear, and a bit too much repeation on the fighting sequences, as the "ORANGE GLOW" move got waaaaaaay to annoying to use it :P . The one thing these rpg's really need todo to makesure it's not close to the launch of mass effect!

I am for sure. I've been playing the hell outta Blue Dragon so I'm wanting more RPG lovin' on the 360. Eternal Sonata's demo really surprised me in a good way. Lost Odyssey, on the other hand, has always been the RPG out of all of the JRPG's announced, that I was most looking forward to. It's looking great and if Blue Dragon is any indication of what we can expect out of them, I'm looking forward to it.

1) lost odyssey looks promising....anyone know when it is coming out?

2) i played the demo for eternal sonata and it was better than i thought it would be...if there weren't so many other games i want for 360 and ps3...i probably would have gotten it.

Eternal Sonata instantly caught my attention the very first time I saw it and my hopes for Lost Odyssey have greatlyincreased now that I have played Blue Dragon :)

Hopefully we'll find out at TGS. I think it'll end up slipping to Spring 08, but MS did say every game shown at E3 with the exception of RE5 would be out this year. What does MS have for Japan in the last 4 months of the year? Eternal Sonata has been out over there. They need Lost Odyssey to come out this year.
