Ok so i already have a 360 premium, but i just got a ps3 and hooked it up with hdmi cables and im now completely sold on hdmi. my question is does anyone think it is worth it to buy a whole new premium just to get the hdmi input? i would deff sell my current xbox and put the money i got towards a new one but im still on the fence. im deff happy with my current 360, im just wondering what you guys think. thanks!

Do it because you can get a newer xbox 360 model which should run smoother without as much concern.

If you got the money then go for it. You could just get the 360 Arcade which will have the HDMI port.

I have a couple questions for you? How old is the premium you have right now? What is you tvs HD resolution capabilities? Which model of the premium do you have(falcon ship,..etc)? Which drive do you have(Samsung-Toshiba, Hitachi, BenQ,etc)?

The best drives are the BenQ featured in the newer models of the xbox 360 and they feature the falcon chip the quiter better chip.

You'll get the RROD soon enough then they'll give you a hdmi x360 for FREE.

With a 720p tv connected to your xbox through HDMI there would be very little to no difference with the visuals from the component cables, but their will be a noticable difference with the sound it will be louder and clearer.

I think MadCatz made this perphirel thats for the Xbox 360's without the hdmi port that plugs into the port so you can plug in a hdmi cable.

You probably want to keep your game data so you want your HDD. Meaning you're gonna have to sell it as if its a Core 360... with no HDMI. They sell brand new "Core" 360s (Arcade) with HDMI for $200 so I don't think you'll be able to sell yours for anywhere near that.

Combine that with my personal fear of buying a used 360 because of RROD... especially a used archaic model before all the hardware revisions and missing HDMI. I don't think you'll get too much money. How much more money do you want to pay just for HDMI output? I'm guessing you won't even get $150... and really i'm thinking more like $100. And thats only if you sell it on eBay or Amazon. If you goto rapesto... I mean gamestop you'll probably get like $30.

not true,

#1 - you have a launch console so your warrenty expires on 22Nov.

#2 - my 360 has died 5 times, 3 of those after they came out with HDMI for all 360's. Guess what, my new replacement does not have HDMI included. There is no guarentee you will get an HDMI output if you send it in for RROD.
