is far cry 4 worth purchasing?

Yes it's worth it even more if you haven't played FarCry 3

Very worth if you didn't play Far Cry 3. I did and couldn't muscle through 4. It wasn't bad, just extremely similar.

I'd say it's worth about $20. It has the same issues all open-world Ubisoft games have. That is a large world filled with monotonous, filler side missions.

Still, it's a pretty fun sandbox to play around in.

I'm not a big Far Cry fan, but Far Cry 4 co-op campaign, and also with the Yeti expansion and a coop tower defense mode, is some of the most fun I've ever had in a game. Single player is cool, but if you can get a friend to come along with you in the campaign you should definitely try it.

Not if you're worried you won't understand Primal. Each FC game is unrelated to the other. As a game in itself, absolutely. Far Cry 4 is an outstanding and atmospheric open world adventure.

I have it, but haven't played it yet. You have to download like a 4. something GB update....
